PostBoom Privacy Policy

This policy covers the PostBoom website, scheduler and Social Media Maker by PostBoom integration.

Effective date: October 17, 2026

Who we are

PostBoom is operated by FunnelStrategist LLC, 1209 N. Orange St, Wilmington, DE 19801, USA. For privacy questions or requests, contact jude@thesalesfunnelstrategist.com.

Information we process

We process account information such as your email address, user identifier, workspace membership and permissions. Our authentication provider processes sign-in credentials and, if you choose Google sign-in, the identity information needed to authenticate you.

When you connect social accounts, we process account identifiers, platform names, profile names or usernames, connection status, and the authorizations needed to provide publishing services. Social-platform authorization is handled through the connection flow; do not put passwords or access tokens into posts or AI conversations.

We store content you save or submit, including captions, titles, hashtags, platform-specific settings, images, videos, scheduled times, follow-up comments and delivery results. We also keep publishing-credit reservations, charges and adjustments, access entitlements, and payment references needed to administer purchases. Stripe handles payment details through its checkout; PostBoom's plugin does not collect card numbers or sell credits.

When you connect an AI application, we process the authorized account, permissions, connection identifiers, tool inputs and results needed to carry out requests. The integration receives information supplied in tool calls, rather than automatically receiving your entire chat history. Account identity and requested post content may be returned to the AI application. Your use of that application is also governed by its provider's terms and privacy policy.

Technical records may include request timestamps, network identifiers, authentication events, errors and delivery identifiers needed to operate and protect the service.

With your permission, we use Meta Pixel and advertising cookies to measure website visits and confirmed purchases from advertising. Meta receives browser/device and event information, including purchase value and currency. You can accept or decline advertising cookies and change your choice using Cookie settings. Google Analytics is not currently integrated. Authentication may use browser storage needed to keep you signed in.

How we use information

We use information to authenticate you, enforce workspace permissions, connect social accounts, save and publish content, track publishing outcomes and credits, process purchases, provide support, investigate failures and misuse, and meet applicable legal obligations. Content you choose to publish is sent to the selected platforms and may become public under your platform settings.

Our company does not sell customer data. PostBoom does not use customer content to train AI models. The practices of AI applications you independently connect are governed by their respective policies and your settings.

Who receives information

Our service providers receive information necessary for their functions:

Authorized workspace members may access information according to their workspace permissions. We may disclose information where legally required or necessary to address fraud, security incidents or legal claims. Within PostBoom, access is limited to authorized company personnel for operating and supporting the service. This is separate from the service-provider disclosures above.

Retention and deletion

We keep saved content while you maintain your account. Our operational targets are to process verified deletion requests within 30 days, retain ordinary diagnostic logs for 30 days, and expire deleted information from backups within 90 days. These targets are not yet verified across all storage systems and are not guarantees of automatic deletion. Contact us for the status of a specific deletion request.

We retain account, delivery, authorization, support and billing records for service operation, security, dispute handling and applicable legal obligations. A fixed retention period for these records has not yet been established.

Disconnecting an AI application revokes its ability to use PostBoom through that connection. It does not automatically delete saved posts, cancel already submitted publishing jobs, delete platform posts, or remove information already held by the AI provider.

To request account or data deletion, contact jude@thesalesfunnelstrategist.com. We may need to verify your identity and authority over the affected workspace before acting on a request. Content already published to social platforms and conversations held by AI providers must also be managed through those services.

Server-side advertising measurement

With advertising consent, we may also report verified purchases to Meta through its Conversions API. Matching information includes hashed email and account identifiers, Meta advertising cookie identifiers when available, IP address and browser user agent, plus purchase value and time. Hashing does not make this information anonymous. We use matching event identifiers to avoid counting the browser and server reports as separate purchases. You can withdraw consent using Cookie settings; while signed in, this also removes pending server reports. Reports already delivered cannot be recalled. Matching information is removed from our reporting queue after delivery or expiry.

Your controls

You choose which social account an AI connection can access and separately approve draft creation, scheduling and immediate publishing. You can revoke an AI connection in PostBoom and manage social connections in the dashboard. Revocation does not undo completed actions or necessarily cancel jobs already accepted by the publishing provider.

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of personal information, or object to or restrict certain processing. Contact jude@thesalesfunnelstrategist.com to make a request.

Security and international processing

We use authentication and authorization controls to limit access to workspaces and connected accounts. No system can guarantee absolute security. PostBoom is intended for customers worldwide. Our providers may process information in countries other than your own.

Children and changes

PostBoom is intended for users aged 18 or older. If you believe a person under 18 has provided personal information to PostBoom, contact jude@thesalesfunnelstrategist.com. We will update this policy when our practices change and show the effective date. We will notify customers of material policy changes by email and update the policy on our website.
